New Club Structure & Leadership – 2026
Following our recent AGM, where the new structure was approved, and the subsequent EGM to finalise key roles, we are delighted to confirm the organisational structure of Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club as we continue to build for the future.
This restructure represents an important step forward for the club — creating clearer accountability, stronger alignment across all areas, and a platform for sustainable growth both on and off the field .
At its core is a simple principle: one club, working together, with clear roles and shared purpose.

A Club Built on People
We want to recognise and thank everyone who has stepped forward into a role this season.
WGCCC is powered by volunteers, and it’s the collective effort across all areas — cricket, coaching, facilities, operations and community — that makes the club what it is.
Every contribution matters, and this structure reflects the strength and depth of people across the club.
Looking Ahead
This new structure gives us:
-
Clear leadership and accountability
-
Stronger alignment between junior and senior cricket
-
Greater focus on coaching, development and performance
-
A platform to grow commercially and sustainably
Most importantly, it positions us to continue building a club that is competitive, welcoming and firmly rooted in the community.
Here’s to the 2026 season — and to everyone playing their part in it.
