Join Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club

We’re a friendly, competitive, and community-led club with cricket for all ages and abilities.

Whether you’re picking up a bat for the first time, getting back into the game, or looking for a new club—we’d love to have you involved.

Junior Cricket (Ages 5–17)

Our junior section is at the heart of the club.

We focus on:

  • Enjoyment first
  • Developing skills and confidence
  • Creating a clear pathway into senior cricket

From All Stars and early years through to our Emerging Players, there’s a place for everyone.

We run five Saturday sides and a Sunday team, offering:

  • Competitive league cricket
  • Opportunities for developing players
  • A strong mix of standards and environments

Training runs twice a week through the season, led by our Director of Cricket, creating a great setup for both improvement and enjoyment.

  • Tuesdays (6–8pm): 3rd–5th XI squads
  • Thursdays (6–8pm): 1st & 2nd XI squads

One Club, One Pathway

We’re proud of being one club.

Our aim is simple—create a clear, supportive journey from junior cricket through to senior teams, while keeping the game enjoyable at every stage.

Not Sure Where You Fit?

That’s completely fine.

Just drop us a message and we’ll help you figure it out—whether that’s playing, coaching, helping out, or just getting involved around the club.

Come Down and See Us

The best way to get a feel for the club is to come down, watch a game, or pop into a training session.

You’ll always find someone happy to have a chat. WGCCC Map
