WGCCC Welcome Royal Selangor Club to Digswell Park
Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club is delighted to welcome touring side Royal Selangor Club to Digswell Park on Tuesday 23rd June for what promises to be a fantastic afternoon of cricket.
The visitors from Malaysia will take on a WGCCC Club Captain's XI in a 30-over fixture, with play scheduled to begin at 2:00pm.
Royal Selangor Club is one of the oldest and most prestigious sporting institutions in Malaysia, with a rich cricketing history and a strong tradition of international touring. We are honoured to host them as part of their 2026 UK tour.
The weather forecast is looking superb, making it the perfect opportunity for members, friends and supporters to spend an afternoon at the club enjoying cricket in the sunshine.
A representative side has been assembled from across the club, bringing together players from our Saturday and Sunday teams in the spirit of touring cricket and club camaraderie.
The clubhouse and bar will be open from 5:00pm and we would encourage members to come down, support the players and help give our visitors a warm WGCCC welcome.
